the steering feel..coming from a Kia Spectra5 it's a world of difference. It's solid and responsive but not too heavy.
the seats..i finally don't slide around when taking a fast corner. the suspension..no more body roll. i'm still in disbelief this is my car. |

No fancy dash, no crazy interior, no high tech crap.
Back to basics and i LOVE IT. |

It's new. It's a Toyota. It looks pretty. Excellent suspension, steering, fueling and brakes. Front engine rear drive. Interior architecture. Fold-flat rear seats. Visibility. Low aluminum hood. Soft rubber dash material. Driver's seat adjustment. Steering wheel adjustment. Excelent weight distribution. Excellent fuel economy. Flared fenders. Pretty headlamps and tail lamps. Smooth six-speed gearbox with paddle shifters. USB ports. Pretty wheels. Automatic windows and door locks. Clever trunk hinges and water runoff routes around trunk. Clean steering wheel. And an infotainment system that doesn't dominate the cabin. I'm sure there are things I've forgotten, but will remember again in a few minutes when I go on a pointless grocery run for the fun of it. At the end of the day I get nearly as much enjoyment out of this car as I ever got out of my little 1970 Fiat. And my Scion doesn't rust. :-)

The shifter feel is incredible.
Car responds to every little input. Driving position is bang on. Such a great car! |

Looks good
RWD LSD Sports car, not a car made "sporty" Good enough fuel economy Thriving aftermarket The best thing is, it has everything I could want in a car. Those above, plus it has AC, decent enough stereo, cruise. No gimmicks like hyndai removing cruise control from their r spec (srs wtf) |

Someone else on this forum said it about a year ago but at the time it struck me as dead on. When you take a corner your spine feels like it's the pivot point. This little car handles like nothing else even when straight out of the box.

I love damned near everything about this car, but they've all been mentioned in this thread, the only thing that hasn't been mentioned...
The price. I see lots of guys on lapping days that have spent three times the money on their car, sure doesn't look like they're having three times as much fun as I am. |

New thing to add, I LOVE how the car looks like when its in motion, someone in a white FR-S drove past me and I forgot for a second that I had the same car!

the car is great, but the community around it is amazing. so many knowledgeable, willing-to-help-out people out there.
