I live on the West end of the Columbia River Gorge and Mt. Hood Nat'l Forest. Pretty much any road going North, South or East from the end of my driveway is sports car and motorcycle heaven.

Nothing here in South Jersey. All straight. The best we have is the on and off ramps of 295 and the Turnpike. Pretty sad

I'm so jealous of you guys! Illinois is so damn flat, that even if you find a paved curvy road, it's only like a mile long

I would have originally said Hwy 9 that I live on: ![]() but 130 is much better in my opinion. Tighter corners, and they aren't all blind corners due to trees like Hwy 9 and 35. Plus, great vista views while tearing up the turns. And, lots of stretch of road with a sheer drop off of the pavement and no guard rails. By the end of a spirited run your starfish will be sore from being puckered for 30 minutes straight.

421 is a great local drive. Beautiful scenery! Whiteout_FRS, we're pretty local to each other!

Washington Hwy 112 from Port Angeles to Neah Bay up at the top NW of the contiguous US states.
![]() edit: Some additional info per request; Takes about an hour to get to PA from Poulsbo. The 112 turnoff is west of PA on 101, but it's well marked. Takes 3 or 4 hours out and back from the turnoff with good conditions. Longer if you stop to gawp at all the views. It's a destination for sport fishing though, so be prepared for lots of boats on trailers. It's a very tight and technical road without much chance for passing. I prefer to pull over and wait for a while if I find a boat in front. They're unlikely to pull over and mostly DGAF about sport cars or motorcycles. There's a hiking trail out to the point at the end of Cape Flattery Road. Recommended. About 3/4 mile each way. Please respect the First Nations lands and roads. Most of us will be guests there. There are a couple restaurants in Neah Bay, but they're nothing to write home about. Better options in Clallam Bay. Public Restroom and park in Clallam on the waterfront where the road takes a 90 deg turn west. Honey buckets at the trail. Gas up In PA before heading out. There's a Shell on 101 west of town. Other options in or before PA. Count on it being an all day run, but can be done easily in that.

Pinehurst to Redwood. Easily the best driving road in the east bay, very spoiled to have this practically in my back yard.

hmm i tried pulling it from google maps but for some reason it wont route through there. maybe its because of the flood we got in september because i know my route was heavily affected. but i like to go from
(colorado) -longmont to Lyons via hwy66 (nice strait low traffic) -to estes park via hwy 36 (still low traffic and lots of twisties and no towns after lyons so no residential areas. Plus really scenic spots along the way) -to loveland via hwy 34 (just as twisty as 36 but there are a couple of tiny towns in the way so i try not to flex the exhaust. Not a whole lot of scenic areas that 36 doesnt feature but it does end in a nice grassy hilly area) -Loveland back to longmont via 287 or interstate 25. (just some spirited driving and lets me show off the car to others on the road) ![]() ![]()
