Also worth mentioning: 54/46 weight distribution is a much bigger handicap at 400hp than at 200hp.

I've also seen S2k's make ~400hp on 92 octane reliably. Something I don't think we'll EVER see the FRS do.
That dyno I posted is a California 91 (aka pisswater) tune. :faint:

I guess you're one of the butthurt ones that ended up being looked down upon because your shit is stock? That's just ridiculous that you'd even mention such a stigma.

This thread is FRS vs S2000. If you've got a problem with peoples opinions... why bother posting?!

Both cars are great, both will win. Obviously stock vs stock, the S2K wins. But everybody knows the FRS needs a turbo. That's where the 400hp vs 400hp example sets in. It's a toss up.

Why so butthurt?
Wow, don't be that guy.

Your opinion is awesome. 400hp will make your FR-S or S2000 the the bees knees! Especially at the track! The best part is your FR-S/S2k will be dead reliable session after session since the 2JZ is and the K20 is (not really).

I gave our AE86 friend a farewell gift (moved back to Europe) by letting him drive my car on track. This is a Rotrex supercharger unit on my car. He didn't quite know it was supercharged because he ripped through a 2 gear burnout before realizing it was possibly boosted. Behold the fun!

Now, can you get 275s on 10" wheels on the back of it?

Yes... we may have already tested setups like that... with 10" wheels in the front too...

Keep in mine the s2000 mods have 10+ years of possible development / experience at this point. The twins have what, a year and a half tops? If you look at early S2000 supercharger kits (at least from my memory), the power wasn't as impressive as the newer kits.

True, but the blowers were different back then. The same blowers used on the current S2000 kits are also being used on the FRS/BRZ.

I'm curious how motortrend came up with a laptime of 1:30 on a stock brz at willow. I smell some fluffed numbers on their part
