You should definitely give it another try. I am a noob myself and it has been a little awkward getting to know everyone since I've only been a few times but I have found that people seem to open up the more they see you around and you introduce yourself to them. You'll see that everyone is pretty respectful and likes to share info about there setups.

i thought someone tried to hit on your girl or something.

what you described is.. well pretty much what happens though.
you roll through, you park your car, and strike up a conversation with people around you.

it's quite rare to have more than one person COME UP to YOU and introduce you to EVERYONE. that didn't happen to me and wont happen to others ... especially now that there are so many people coming out (wasn't so true last night, i know)

easiest way to start a conversation with anyone is to start talking about their car. find a car you like, walk around it, ask who the owner is, then ask about what he/she has done to the car and so forth.

i hope you have a better experience next week!

Park closer to the Carl's Jr side next time you come around. We always welcome fellow 86 owners and other cars alike. Maybe someone will wear our club shirt next week and you can introduce yourself.

Yeah we got the boot around 11:30... flashed their light at us and said time to go home. They waited for us to drive off and Julian was a lucky winner from there.
