@shiv@vishnu, did you receive the stock ROM of ZA1J700G that I've sent? The email got bounced back so I sent it twice.

Yes I believe I do. Got 2 roms to work through ahead of yours but I should have it supported by the end of the work week

Thanks. Was just wondering if I need to send again. Take whatever time you need. I work in software industry so I know this kind of work shouldn't be rushed.

Keen to see your results. What mods are you currently running?

Only mods so far are TRD chassis stuff, brake lines and pads.

I think it's worth mentioning my ROM reading experience: After the reading was done, the doors wouldn't lock. After a few minutes of double-checking the doors and boot were properly shut, I switched back on the ignition then off, and now the doors would lock. For what it's worth my car has push-start button.

Was that the end of the problem or do you think it needs a keyless map?
Could climate control A/C be a problem?

I have yet to drive the car since reading the ROM. Hopefully it's just a hiccup.

I don't think the ECU knows or cares about what A/C is in the car.

Could just be that the car doesn't like something plugged to the OBD port during shutdown. Next time I'll try unplugging the OFT before shutdown and see what happens.

That could be it....I remember reading somewhere that any OBDII readers have to be removed prior to shut down . Maybe when you have the time, try it again but this time unplug the OFT first to see whether the same issue occurs.

Dynos are just measuring tools. Especially load bearing dynos (Mustang Dyno) that can be configured to provide larger or smaller hp numbers. So comparing different Mustang Dynos is going to provide no useful comparative data. It's also worth mentioning that power gains can be generated by not only making power, but also presenting a baseline (pre-tune) pull that makes low power. This doesn't have to be done will ill-intention as some runs just make more power than others with no changes to the tune.

All the end of the day, regardless of what tuning software you use (OFT, BRZedit or Ecutek), we are all playing with the same tools. So one one option is going to make power power than the other all things equal. That said, I would be hesitant to ever say that X tune makes Y HP over stock. Because that is most certainly not going to be the case in different cars and on different dynos and on different days. I've been doing this way to long to get caught up in the numbers game. Because that is really what it is most of the time, a game.

Don't do that. You'll likely throw a CEL. Mine did the same (doors wouldn't lock) after the first read, but not since.

Currently running the 1.3 map and definitely notice the improvement
