wait, it WILL NOT?

you are the first person to say that, while everyone else is saying that fhi will not have different whites... something about cutting into production costs and what-not, which seems silly to me... just hearing the name "whiteout," just suggests that it will be no bs, straight white color, imo... as stated before, i would love to have a plain white fr-s if possible... i can't wait to find out !!

When the GT86 was debuted, they showed one in every color, and the white looked nothing like the TRD 'white'. Why would Scion, cutting costs on interior, offer high trim paint such as the SWP on the FRS? Those are my .02. I could be wrong tho, but I am in the white club, so it has to be hideous white to change my opinion.

The color code showing up for 86 and BRZ is definitely confirmed as 37J which is Satin White Pearl. That is Official. no matters how it looks to you reality is its 37J. Now the FRS has a chance that its not because of that cutting so, best of luck.

Ill say it again both 86 and BRZ white color option is confirmed CONFIRMED official documentations, eye witnesses and color code 37j Satin White Pearl.Your only hope nowis Scion some how got Subaru to paint it differently. For American FRS.unlikely but keep hoping, you might get the white you want.and scion didnt cost cut the interior it already came like that to begin with its just an 86 lower trim with some snall things like bigger wheels added.

Zaku, do you have a link to ^ information? I have a friend who swears the BRZ comes in Matte white and he sent me this picture as an example. Thanks.

Yes I absolutely do! hang on a sec I'll gather all the information for you.
Everything I'm about to show you is official. Confirmed. Cannot be disputed information.

On the Official BRZ site

※サテンホワイト・パール on the bottom right translate to "Satin White Pearl" If you play on the 3d model the same characters will show up.

Fun Fact did you know due to environmental laws, even though SWP is the most popular color for the BRZ and 86 in japan you get charged more because of this law? Fun fun fact. This is highly unlikely to effect the USA, but who knows.

Thanks to Ichitaka for the translation, but as you can see on the options list from Japan again (7J) shows up and the code for Satin White Pearl is 37J therefore again, Satin White Pearl is the color.

On the Official JDM 86 site.

http://toyota.jp/86/001_p_001/exteri...lor/index.html

Again the first car shown is said the color "Satin White Pearl 37J" making the car obviously Satin Pearl White. Once more. If you Play with the car builder or the 3D model well it's the same deal. 37J

Subaru Accessories touch up paint.

http://www.patrickaccessories.com/37J

37J Satin White Pearl.

So with all of this information provided I have concluded with about a 98% sure that ALL 3 86 models will be SWP 37J, with the small exception that some how... in the most unlikely move that cannot be Fathom... the 3rd model the FRS comes in a Super White Color....or Whiteout. I wouldn't rule out the RS editions being a Clean White either. But with the FRS being just a Lower model 86 I like to say it's safe to assume that it's SWP.

Unless you want to believe in that 2% hey that's all you.

/Case Close \o/

Rosuhere... your FRS is a Renamed Toyota...a Toyota that is Subaru made...in a Subaru Factory...where... everything is made and painted.

2% chance.

Hehe... I'm just having fun, because I did this with someone and Lighting Red and well.. that's Firestorm lol and Raven that's is Black Silica

i'm just as well aware as you are about fhi building/painting all the models... but since superwhite is such a popular color amongst scion owners, i really will not be surprised one bit if they offered it in plain white... you are starting to sound a little silly with that whole "2% chance" thing, where do you even get that percentage, care to share your calculations? haha...

i say 50/50...

I gave it a low percentage, because Scion doesn't have a say in much of the upper echilon of the corporations, Scion is only in two country of the world and Scion doesn't sell as much as most people think they will it's why they were in trouble and needed the FRS to save it. There's also too much information against it. Switchlanez explained their business and marketing Hiarchy before. But here's the thing that makes it likely to be a different white, because they had Scion research teams out asking for what color people wanted in 10 and early 11 unfortunately.... if I remember alot of people wanted Pearl White.. and thus we had that Blizzard Pearl thing come out, in that limited number to test the waters... I think they sold out.... lol .

We've had confirmation from eye witnesses that Firestorm is Lighting Red and Raven is black silica. People at car and coffee in Irvine who knew or owned a Black Subaru with that color say it's the same thing. Ichitaka saw the red at the LA event and said it's highly likely it's lighting red, people in detroit saw the Silver and said it's very close to Subaru's silver. That's... pretty solid.

The real question here is that, does it cost them more or less to add super white to that factory line, or is it easier to just bring SWP over, because they don't get charged that extra tax when it comes over.

Well just wait till April, I hope it's super white myself to be honest but I don't mind SWP.

yea, a difference in hue of the red is minimal... only high end cars will have 3 different reds, so no surprises there... and black is black, aside for it being matte or metallic, so of course they will be the same :]

as for the white, a pearl white is not the same as regular white, it gives off quite a bit of yellowish hue depending on the condition; not the business ~

yea, i can't wait to find out the day where whiteout does not carry the 37J code :P

please scion, give us the "real" white !!
