You're welcome!

Called Scion USA and they confirmed new part number as of Oct 17, 2013.

My dealer confirmed that the part is ordered. It is available in Jacksonville, Fl where they order parts. I have an appointment for Friday afternoon to get the new pump. Here is hoping...

Just called mine too. He confirmed the updated TSB and part number. They won't order the new part unless I bring my car in and confirm the noise. Going to bring it in tomorrow and see what they say. Thanks for the heads up!

I've tried using only Shell, using Lucas upper cylinder lubricant in the gas, having the parts swapped once at the dealer, it's not going to be fixed until you get the revised pump.
Yes I agree but without ethanol it's quiet 99.99% of the time[countries without ethanol or rare]. With ethanol it's noisy 80% of the time.

Try 2T, others have had success with tiny amounts.

I second that too. My car stop chrips when is in the low 60s in the morning. However, i see that in this board mention the pump has been revise. So let see if they going to fix it. If success by many people, i will bring my in for the change. Otherwise not if fail again.

I'm going for it this time. They've had a long time to work on this. I'll be pissed if it chirps with this one. This one is a completely different part.

That's the opposite of what everyone in that thread said.

TSB S-SB-0023-12 has a new revision, revision two, dated October 17, 2013. The old fuel pump part number that was used to replace the high pressure fuel pump was SU 003-00328. This new revision to the FR-S chirp issue dated October 17 changes the pump part number to SU 003-05176. I am supposed to get a call back this afternoon telling me that it is ordered or that they have to drive the car for 10 minutes before they can order it.
In short, revision two to the TSB for chirping is out. Old pump part number was
SU 003-00328
New part number
SU 003-05176.
I sure hope this is legitimate information
Finally! A part number. Going to the dealer tomorrow. Thanks!

Good luck! I'll probably have to bring mine by to "prove" it before parts get ordered.

I've been reading the "troubleshooting issues" thread, and I've read a lot about the chirping & cricket problem. I'm not sure how it really sounds like, but I haven't heard anything similar with my engine. Does anyone here has this issue? or safe tayo dito because we have high octane fuel like Blaze?
