Yep setting them up out of the box for your most used form of motorsports is going to be key.

It's really hard to have a set-up that works well in all three areas. Almost need three separate FRS's....

Just wanted to stop back in and post an update.

We have had these on our FRS for quite some time now. Lots of DD use, and a couple more autocross events. I still enjoy the ride around town, and we went with stiffer spring rates than what the un-customized versions come with.

Roller bearings are doing their job and keeping spring pop from bothering my old ears.

We're about to get snow for the first time this winter in Iowa so the car won't see the road much once that happens, but it's been an absolute blast to this point with the car. 9300 miles on the odometer and still a blast to drive every time I get in the seat.

Sorry I had to comment on this. And I must preface it by saying I've always considered buying Fortune Auto. But this sounds like "oh I promise they're great! I promise!"

The statement before hand asked if there was before and after numbers of testing. Skid pad, lap times and etc.

While we don't have before and after numbers on exact set-ups, the silver car that had these coils, tires, and brakes, vs our stock red car. The Silver car was running laps of low 1:51 to 1:52's, while the stock red car was in the 1:56 to 1:57.

I'm not sure many manufactures have this data at all? Does KW have skid pad numbers on stock vs their suspension? AST? Stance? Eibach? Lap times showing improvements? Maybe one of them does. This type of testing requires a serious time investment from the manufacturer, and in the grand scheme of things, tires, brakes, and other items will play a large roll in the reduction in lap times in combination with any coilover.

While it seems simple on paper to gather this data, the actual collection of it takes tons of man hours. Are the Fortune 500's the ultimate coilover? NO. Do they work well all around for someone on a budget? Yes.

They offer other options like the 510's, Dreadnoughts, and more for serious track day enthusiasts. We will be putting their 2-way system through the ringer in May though.

What's the lowest the 500's will drop the car? I plan on dropping the car no more than around 1.25-1.5 inches but just wondering but the range is.

Been almost a year since I've been lowered, so I forget the exact specs. I have a 1 finger gap front and rear on 225/45/17... The rear sleeves are almost maxed out. I want to say I'm a little more than 1.5"

Sorry I don't have any exact numbers, but hopefully this helps some

FA 500's are the best coilovers under $1500. I believe the lowest they go is approx 2.5" lower than stock.

We are on the Dreadnought system now with external reservoirs, but still use the same strut housing and Swift Springs that the FA 500 series uses. We are 1.5" lowered.

Fortune Auto is awesome

I hate to ask this again since so many others have asked but what is the maximum amount of drop on these? I am very interested and love the fact they're made in USA but I cant seem to find definitive data on the maximum amount of drop.

I called their sales department a very cute sounding girl answered the phone said let me double check and came back and told me 3-3.5" this seems like way way too much drop available from what others are reporting.

I have eibach sportlines and definitely want to go at least an inch lower so 2.5 total give or take. I want to tuck tire on my 225x40x18's

Could you please tell me a definitive drop height available I honestly dont believe 3-3.5....

Thanks in advance!
