At least with a Miata, any repair costs would not be totally lost as they will be in your current car. Your current car is essentially worthless, I'd guess. A Miata should retain its value quite well at this point, so long as you don't put an excess of miles on it. It would make a decent trade-in after you graduate, get a decent job, and go shopping for your new FR-S. Something to consider, perhaps. I'm sure you'll find lots of other good advice from the knowledgeable folks here on this forum. |
