My fiance is watching it now (I'm re-watching with her) and we're on Episode 7, and I really can't believe how amazing the one scene is with Mikasa towards the end. Sorry for being sort of vague. It's super spoilerific.

Arpeggio of Blue Steel is a fanservice series with laser beam spam, electronic shields, and reproductions of WWII naval vessels. The CGI humans/robots are meh. Also the various ships' technical specifications are in the ending credits with some kind of pinup poster but there are moe girls superimposed over them.

Get in all the Eva you can. The story is just so Deep. You think its over but its not. Before I came back to the states last year I watched the 3rd movie Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo in Japan and it leaves me with questions cuz its 10 years in the future. Anyways got to wait another 2 years for the next movie. Enjoy it!

I tried watching a few of the new shows; Kill la Kill, Strike the Blood, etc. But Jr High ecchi is too awkward for me to watch. I did watch Monogatari series too. Then I watched Valverave and that seemed nice then...well I won't spoil it for you. I get the impression it's basically a Gundam clone by the same people who made Gundam. Samurai Flamenco is looking to be one of those meh series. But I like the characters, the dude and the LEO and the Oni-ona. I'm watching Teekyu 3. I started to watch Genshiken Second but it felt like crap, first season was good.
Then there was Sunday without God, Silver Spoon, Senyu 1&2, Teekyu 1&2, Genshiken 1 & 2(not the second), Hentai Prince and the Stony Neko, Bakemonogatari, Nisemonogatari, Monogatari, Watamote. Kinmoza is a bit hard to watch because it's middle-schoolers but it's clean series about study abroad students. I tried to watch "Yūsha ni Narenakatta Ore wa Shibushibu Shūshoku o Ketsui Shimashita" but I about barfed. The story is good but they wussed out with fanservice because it was too hard to make good characters. It made me miss "The Devil is a Part-timer." It had a crappy story but interesting characters. |

Got drawn into anime watching Gundam Wing on toonami years ago. I have loved most Gundam series ever since. I don't just like Gundam either, but there is probably too much to list since now that toonami was what, 10-15 years ago?
All time favorite is 08th MS Team I love the series as a whole but then there's that one scene with Norris... just watch it, trust me. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6h4vObEQUAA"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6h4vObEQUAA[/ame] Lately I've watched/been watching: Gundam Unicorn of course, HSoTD, Attack on Titan, a ton of the high school animes that I can't think of the names of (dead fish eyes outcast in volunteer club + artsy school put him in outcast dorms because of adopted cats and he looks after vacant aspiring manga artist - if you know them).

Heh, it's become even more popular lately.
Just a random titan, no spoilers here. I have more too but some of the gifs go over the forum limit. |

I'm just getting started on anime. I don't know why it's taken me so long, since I love animation.

If you're not into Sports anime, Hajime no Ippo & Diamond no Ace are hard to go into, but that's an only sports I like to watch. I don't care for NBA or NFL lol |

I'm curious, what are people's thoughts about Valvrave the Liberator? I like it but it's not my favorite mecha anime for sure and it tries to be everything in one anime.
