I bought a FA20Club tune, waste of money for two reasons. Tony's lack of customer service/communication and the fact that EcuTek here in Australia are a bunch of money grubbing pricks(I wanted to get an EcuTek tune from a local workshop that specialised in EcuTek, they would not tune it as it was not purchased through the proper channels(MRT), so fuck MMS and fuck MRT).

Wasted a couple hun on a EcuTek licence which I never used(unless you count a 'base tune' as worthwhile). It was flashed back to stock settings and actually runs better than the base tune. Took me over 5 weeks for a follow up email from FA20Crap, just for my first recorded logs. I decided that I'm not gonna piss-fart around with Tony and cut my losses.

My car's FINALLY going to be tuned tomorrow properly on a dyno. Will be using BRZEdit with a local tuner here.. not as good as EcuTek, but less politics and bullshit behind it. I only require ONE map anyway.
Who's engine did it grenade? Certainly not mine.

Mine is running great after my flash on Sunday. Definitely feel the power over stock. Can't wait to tune my JDL header next with logs.

Last week I called Andy about the P0137 Check Engine Light due to the 2nd 02 sensor on the PPE header being out of the direct exhaust path and within 5 minutes got an email with updated tune to not check for the code.

The initial tune took a few days though.

My experience with Toni has always been positive. N/A tunes and FI tunes have always been sent within 24 hours. He even stayed up till 11:00pm on a Friday dyno tuning! Responds in kind to all of my noobish questions... really couldn't ask for more.

Do they send the flash through the email I gave them? 2 weeks+ already and still nothing in my email.

Is there a thread or pdf file or place I can see step by step to flash ecu?

If I uninstill everything I install using canle and usb and reinstall again. Will the lisence and id # still be the same?

As far as the initial data logging, I understand the 3rd gear WOT but for the 1st to 6th gear run, is this done at WOT too or just at a constant steady pace?

Steady pace, as if you are cruising around town.

Cool thanks, also from the time that I sent the initial info regarding current mods on car, dongle ID, registration key, etc I have changed my exhaust from a muffler delete to Invidia N1, so the initial map Tony sent me will be using the muffler delete. Will this mess things up when I send in the data logs?

Make sure you check on all of the option that he mentioned on his guide . I have to do it again since i seems to miss the maf voltage. So I need to do it and waiting again.

So 3rd gear start from 2500rpm all the way to the red line and then do a norma driving from the first gear to the 6th. Send them to logs@fa20club dot com.

I believe the only exhaust piece that is going to affect tuning is the header.

Yeah I understand the process its just the fact that the initial tune he sent me was for one catback but since that time period I changed catbacks. What will the affect?
