Rough idle. They've previously swapped the cam assemblies and replaced a bank of cam adjusters.

During my entire road trip from Alaska to southern California, over to Arizona, Colorado and back up to Alberta then Alaska again, I totally thought I would hit a deer! I mean there were ram, bison, lynx, cougar, moose, elk and caribou all over the place ON the road, but not once did a deer ever get on the road, only ever off to the sides. Very odd.

Deer are EVERYWHERE here. Deer have no natural predators here, so they completely overrun their territory. They're a goddamned nuisance and danger. One of the real problems with sprawl and high population areas.

Is there not an open-hunting order for them to help keep the population of them down and drivers safe?

There is, but not nearly enough get killed during open season. Especially when you get into the more populated areas, since there are few places you can hunt due to proximity to housing and property ownership.

Hopefully my next encounter doesn't involve a deer through my windshield...

Nothing done today, but tomorrow these get their tires mounted. At least I'll have a little fun before the winter weather arrives. I figure I can have some fun until mid December. Yay random Virginia weather.

Huge props to John at TSTraction for helping me get these. His price beat all the other vendors I spoke to, and included the center caps.

Oh good point if they know to hangout in city limits. Same with moose here in Anchorage. I would rather hit a deer than a moose, but moose are slow and large enough for me to avoid them since I look way ahead while driving.

I guess just keep doing your best to avoid them!

On-Topic:

I just scheduled to have my winter tires mounted this weekend. I'm not ready for snow, but whatever. It is what it is!
