Just a heads up, not sure how your hids look under the hood but I spliced into my hids at the h11 connector that goes to the ballast. You could also ditch splicing into the headlights and splice into the parking lights instead? Same effect except they start up sooner. As long as it's a power and a ground the lights will turn on. No in Canada the parking lights are on always then fogs will stay on always too. I want to splice into the HID because they are Automatic and only turn on when dark in Auto Mode

Kinda disappointed, but the passenger side fog light is already cracked and no sign of impact or chips. And haven't driven on the highway either.
