I know people have affinity for their SNES, and it had some good sound on some games like Star Fox and Donkey Kong Country, but I think the genesis had the most bangin sound hardware for games like 'ToeJam and Earl II: Panic on Funkatron' and 'Earthworm Jim' and it unfortunately can't be faithfully emulated on a PC, you have to get a genesis if you're an audiophile.

Greatest movie of my childhood. One of the few movies I've bought on VHS, DVD, collector's anniversary DVD, and god forbid they ever release on blu-ray. Some of the best music in that movie too:

True that and the cords for the controllers are only 3 feet long so you have to stare at oversized pixels

I was referring to the DOS game. It looks very familiar, I might have played a mac version at school. I remember it being very addictive, and the main character carried a net? And you had to build something?

I have extension cords on my NES, Genesis, and N64 controllers. The N64 ones are absurdly long. My N64 controllers' range rival that of my Xbox 360's lol. Shit's wacky.

ELF LAND: Gorgimer's Castle

If you had played this game you'll know what I'm talking about. Sublime platforming for the DOS age, sound through a PC speaker. Weird game but it was amazing. It was like Commander Keen but better. You had to be an expert to beat levels in this game- had to know where all the bad guys were and to watch out for surprises to trip you up.

The picture you quoted is of the original Transformers Movie.

The game you're talking about is Treasure Mountain. Old Computer game.

DAM treasure mountain, wouldn't of been able to think of that one on my own.

Another Learning Company classic... This was the first game I ever played in school
