Angry Performance Frustration, what should I do?

I love this car, I love everything about this car but its lack of torque. This is the second BRZ of mine, and I keep looking at it with the same passion and enthusiasm I did the first time I saw it, or even earlier, when I read everything about its project, a couple of years prior to its launch, but today I had, again, such a bad experience, been beat up by another car at the freeway, and I am not talking about any Porsche, BMW, or any american muscle car... it was actually a four cylinder japanese car, that in respect to all of us, I am not going to say the model nor the brand, but the fact is that such a thing pissed me off. I had spent already over 4k on my new car; Sparcco wheels, 225/45 R17 , Invidia Q300 exhaust, summer tires, lightweight pulley from Raceseng, a Takeda cold air intake, a Carbon Fiber Driveshaft, and a few other cosmetic stuff, like all LED bulbs, Toms taillights, etc... The fact is, I can consider myself a proud owner of the very first car, with a front mounted Boxer engine, and RWD, that has the center of gravity lower than a Ferrari Italia, and now looks as gorgeous as an Aston Martin sportscar, but it still freaking super extremely slow, specially while in that nimble of power that happens in between 3k to 5k revs. So, I am now asking myself, should I expend about 6k more in this car, to solve my issue with a turbo, or should I wait for the 2015/2016 mid-life refresh, with lots of speculation going on within the industry, on how they are going to bring this extra power; if from a displacement increase, to 2.5L from 2.0; if from force induction; or even a hybrid system to boost (I personally dont like this last option)? What do you guys think? I am the only one dealing with this dilemma? I have my mind set in one thing, I would go back to Mercedes-Benz, for sure as soon as the CLA 45 AMG hit the US dealerships, I would trade my BRZ, if until then, the car was not able to bring the pleasure I expect from it. Comments?

Can you /rant in a smaller font next time please? Sell you're pointless mods, fund a header + e85 build or sell everything you've purchased thus far and buy an innovate kit. Solved. You spent money on stuff that could've seriously helped performance instead bro. Spend more wisely next time if you need more tq this badly.

Owning these cars -- ANY CAR really -- is not about "getting beat" or trying to beat someone on the freeway. It's about enjoying the total driving experience while being considerate and sharing the road responsibly. If you want to accelerate in a straight line, build a top fuel dragster.

The baby AMG is going to get outrun by plenty of stuff too.

Might want to reconsider your expectations and consider building/buying a race car.

lol, you can fix the "problem" by telling your parents you don't want the brz anymore and want a fast race car, like lightning mcqueen. Then maybe they'll get you a mustang gt.

I would probably say your best bet to get some good power would be...

A big beautiful Full Blown Turbo Kit which you can find here.
Sorry, I had too

We're actually in the middle of an install now, so we should have more pictures and videos for you soon if you're interested in finding out more info, or you can check out our previous installs.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask

Please, change it once more: back to the way it is supposed to be.

Get rid of the car, it's not for you. I'm a firm believer that if you wouldn't drive a Miata you'll get tired/disappointed with the BRZ/FRS. For a lot of people there is no replacement for displacement, cut your losses, no point driving something you're unhappy with, something that leaves a pit in your stomach at every stoplight.
