Yes. I started it a few times before I just cleared it, restarted the car, and it stayed gone. The car was bogging really bad and acting like it had reset the ECU until I got down the road a few miles and switched to map 2.

Exactly how mine did it to. Started the car, bogged, felt like it didnt know the throttle position like restting the ecu. Can you take a pic of the obd adapter you are using?

Email webmaster@azbrscca.org, he can help you get it sorted out, just explain that you weren't aware of the pricing break and paid based off the mindthecones default info.

Doesnt look a cheapy chinese one like the one im running. Try taking note of your start up technique when the issue arises. Take note if you are doing something differently. Like sitting in the on position for a while first or just turning it on and going.

I assume when they say the "state" the device is on implies the device is still booting or something similar. Maybe sending the ecu a response it wasnt expecting at the time.

Once you track down what or when that state is then perhaps you can avoid it.

Well, I got my car back from the dealer after 3 days. They were unable to replicate the problem I have had with the car not "capturing" the key so I can use the use the push button start so I guess I have to wait until it does it again. They checked with Subaru and no reports of this occurring with other BRZs.

Also front bumper apparently has a broken clip which is plastic and apparently attached to the bumper so only fix for minor misalignment of bumper would be to replace entire bumper-at this point probably not worth it for a relatively minor cosmetic issue.

Good news is I will be at BWW this Friday. Good to hear you'll be going to AZ 86 Bash, Jack.

Am I the only one who thinks 20 dollars for balancing and mounting four wheels is a sketchy price?
