Nice project but... taking that motor and slapping into a Geo metro would also make it "First 1k HP Geo Metro".

Hahaha! I'm really anticipating your setup, can you remind us when is it going to be unveiled?

The S2K has been out for over a decade, this car has only been out for a year and a half and already making over 500whp!

It takes a lot of R&D to unleash a car's full potential....

ive done proper research and got a few quotes from numerous shops all whom are proper supra shops, so if you can get me the complete swap for 15 grand ( half the price ) im in
Thing is, a significant portion of what you listed is needed whether you do a built fa20 or go with a 2j. Comparing costs for what it would take to get a fa20 and supporting mods up to the 1khp mark and you might find yourself right with the cost of the swap, especially if you do some of the work yourself as the gearhead would.

True, the only major difference is you don't need to shed 20k at once for a FA20. For ex, you can get your turbo kit, then do your full exhaust and after that build the block and so on. By doing so you end up breaking down the costs and making it easier on the pocket. On the other hand if you dive into a swap you need to do everything at once( mostly).

My 2 cent

What's the point? Watch people burn up tires while they piss away money? Ditching Mercedes limos in the desert because the gas ran out is equally intelligent. Hard to believe we live on the same planet. It almost makes me wish the world is ready to ditch the carbon based economy.
