As far as they know the last revision was done around May of 2013 and it shares the same part number and you can only tell its the revised part by checking the green dot.

I was also refused to get pumps replaced any further as SOA states that the CHIRPING is a normal characteristic of the car and they are not planning to fix it. But because i was not satisfied with the noise the new car was making. The representative i was speaking to at SOA offered me an extended warranty that will last 7 years and 100000 miles whichever comes first as a complimentary update to my existing 3 year warranty. Took the deal. What do you guys think?

Anyone else try to figure out whats the deal with the new part number? 11625JB010 Seems to not exist in dealers i called.
You obviously didn't read what I wrote.

Blame Canada!
Anyway, I'd wait until someone has at least 1.5-2k on the new p/n pump before bugging my service manager.

Does anyone know if this is the same fuel pump used in the corolla?

I don't believe the Corolla is direct injection in which case definitely not. The chirps come from the High Pressure Fuel Pump which is up attached to the engine, not the little "pea-shooter" back in the tank.

It took about a month for mine. Just got the call a couple days ago. Goes in tomorrow.

Unless you get some updated pump, guaranteed it will come back. I'm not even convinced the new pumps are being installed yet.

I had minor chirps when running on 91 Shell (Socal gas). I just pumped 91 Chevron, to see if anything would change. Turns out the chirps were even louder. Will switch back to Shell and see if the chirps tone down a bit.

Also quick question,
My car is nearly stock (aside from the few cosmetic changes here and there). I'm itching to get an exhaust system in the near future. Assuming there will be a fix for this, would it be wise to wait on modifying the exhaust until after the fix has been released? Or will they fix it regardless seeing as how the exhaust has nothing to do with the HPFP? Thanks!

So I've had chirps since the 2nd tank of gas in my car. Currently at 4500 miles, yesterday I filled up for the first time with E0 93. Chirps were gone within 10 miles. Completely gone. Chirps are definitely ethanol related in my case. (May 2013 build date).

Just confirmed at dealership. Updated fuel pump, updated fuel lines. We'll see.
