Last time I saw this car dyno it was in the 600s now it's 1000 0_0 it has to have some kind of diff swap the stock diff with the v160 would be pointless..legit car for sure!

I've seen 800+ HP S2k's.... whats keeping the FA20 motor hitting those numbers.... THey both have the same displacement except one is inline and the other is flat.....

If it were that easy to determine how and why an engine can produce high HP, why does a Chrysler Sebring 2L inline 4 engine can't hit 800 whp?

It's determined by way more variables than displacement and piston orientation.

1k+ hp is cool, if all you wanna do is drag racing. I'm sure there are plenty of people out there who will be impressed by this, i.e people who are into drag racing.

I'm more interested in cars that can turn, myself.

What I am curious about though, is how a (milder) 2JZ would affect weight, weight distribution, and center of gravity.

I'm also curious about the cost difference between swapping to a 2JZ vs a fully built and turbocharged FA20 (not counting the cost of similar required upgrades like transmission and rear axle).

Ultimately, if it costs less to swap to a 2JZ vs a fully built FA20, and it doesn't significantly affect the cars ability to carry speed through turns/etc, then a 2JZ swap could be a very tempting option for people like me.

A proper 2j swap with a reliable 600rwhp on a 86 would cost about 30 Grand

The Owner Ekanoo has a picture of the car on a scale and with his setup the car is not very nose heavy as fanboys would think, but you also have to consider that it sits higher which also a bit alters the geometry

I would think time would be how to determine this because they constatly make parts better and stronger to handle the power.
