That's for sure! If some of you young-ens ever wonder what your grandfather was talking about when he said "sounds like rain on a tin roof", just sit in your FR-S during a rainstorm and you will know what he meant ....

The first thing to fall off your car will probibly be something you put on it .... like a splitter, fog lights, front plate, mud flaps, .......

Anything that bounces up and hit the underside of the car makes a horrible noise, in any small car I've ever owned. I lost my drain plug once(heard it pop off), and it made the loudest bang when it popped back from the ground up under my car.

This car(twins) with thinner metal just about everywhere even further exaggerates these sounds.

There is a TSB for noise coming from rear underdash. Might be what you are referring too?
