With this much hype investment I can't imagine Toyota not cashing in on it.

FRS starting MSRP will be $25495.
BRZ starting MSRP will be $25999.

We are all here to have fun w/ the enthusiasm for the upcoming car, but some of projections here are downright nonsense. The base BRZ (premium) comes standard with HID and Navigation and the Scion base model does not. That means there must be at least $2K difference in price between these two models. Ok, I'm done ranting.

Ya some of these estimates are really bad. Also bespoke nav will not be standard. Twitter conversation with scion went:

Scion - New FR-S will feature new bespoke radio/nav
Random person - will it be standard?
Scion - Optional

Sorry, I meant 26,955 for BRZ, not 26,595
+1

I'll say: $25,300 FR-S
$26,999 BRZ Premium

Dunno if it's been posted in a thread yet, but the latest Car and Driver magazine did a preview on the FR-S & BRZ and estimate the cost at $26,000 for FR-S.

Just checked twitter and scion said they are not sure yet. My gut says standard since they said featured not optional and it is also shown in the upcoming commercial.

Scion has never said the bespoke was optional

@scion is the new pioneer bespoke system going to b standard in the 2013 FR-S?

@aiphanes Can't be sure if it is a standard or optional feature. Detailed specs are not available yet. Sorry. ^CS
