Look at it this way:

Listing now says "Lifetime Warranty" and "Made from 321 Stainless Steel w/ titanium inclusion! Fully Polished and TIG Welded"
Your buying it on eBay and pay via Paypal.
eBay is now notoriously known for being "pro buyer". If you have any trouble with the headers, dont like them, they break, item is not EXACTLY AS DESCRIBED, or warranty is not honored its practically a guarantee eBay will refund your money.

I am watching this closely. I may just bite.

wow wtf. after the first batch of 3 sold instantly, he listed 5 more. this time he is asking 500 dollars and 100 for shipping.... I just paid 310 total for mine...

edit: he also bumped the price for all his shit. The test tipe was like 150ish and now its doubled. Same with the exhaust. The shipping for the exhaust is 225 alone now...

Yeah at the new price your better off looking elsewhere now. At the original price it was at least tempted, not now...

Wasn't the original ad for T304 stainless steel?
So many things changed so quickly lol

-Pipes 42mm diameter
-1.9mm thick

I'm not sure what "titanium inclusion" or "Euro spec" mean, but I'm very tempted to pull the trigger on this. You know, for science!
The 'titanium inclusion' is a reference to 321 stainless steel having a % of titanium in the alloy. However, these being 321 is pure bullshit.

I have a set of ebay VQ35 headers to check quality for my buddy and a confirmed XSPower 2JZ turbo manifold that came with a basket case Supra I bought a few years ago and chucked.

The VQ headers are not even fully 300 series stainless steel as the flanges are fully magnetic. The tubing, while not magnetic, is horribly discolored. The welds are awful. They are MIG or stick welded, then a series of tacks are made on top to simulate TIG welding. Terrible. The XSpower 2J mani I never bothered to magnet test because it was so terrible. Fully discolored, and cracked at the wastegate. Corrosion and burn-through on the inside. Terrible.

The discoloration (brown, not gold/blue fron heat) comes from the process of chrome or nickel plating over a flash plate of copper. The copper absorbs oxygen and diffuses to the surface making horrible brown colour. The reason they do this is to hide the fact that the flanges are not stainless, but they still advertise 100% 304 stainless steel.

Though I can't have these '321' tested, the chance of that being an accurate (ie not outright fraud) is very, very slim.

The fact that they are inconsistent in their advertising as to whether it is 304 or 321 should set off 'this is a shady, dishonest business' alarm bells.

But hey, cheap and Euro Spec! Amiright?

It's called china grade "321SS" with quotations.. Lol. I would have considered buying for $300 shipped. $500??? Nah... Doesn't Borla cost about that?

lol go check out the HKS headers dyno tuned by Drift-office. The numbers are so good someone who owns the Borla headers is so jelly of it that he starts bashing HKS because he was so surprised and thought it was just another HKS part that was overpriced because of there name/reputation.

I would choose HKS headers over the Borlas anyday after seeing those types of gains.

Your statement makes no sense. Different cars will take to different mods, not to mention you're comparing el to uel headers, which in theory should outperform.

I don't think anyone is discounting the quality of HKS parts, as they do have some great quality, but there's definitely some products they produce that are far inferior to items that are half the price.

*Disclaimer* I do not own any borla parts

Fun fact: I contacted XS-Power regarding this header. They don't make any headers for our cars whatsoever.

really? because I emailed them too, and they said they do indeed make them. They do have a lifetime warrenty and will honor it, but then they said they dont have any ready made yet. They had 5 ready, and are sold out as of now... which I was one of the 5 who bought it. So we shall see how it goes. THey have a installed photo, and it looks like a good fitment.

Guess these haven't arrived or been installed yet? the earth has not collapsed due to faulty welds..

Rip the cat out, put as straight pipe in there, get it all ceramic coated and it would probably be alright

I bought it for 2 reasons, the cheap ass price and the cat. I wanted a header but I heard or read, that the cat helps reduce noise... so that was a big plus. They did not even ship them yet. I just bought it on Saturday. So I bet he didnt do it then, and then all shipping stores are closed today. Probably will be until like friday until I might see it..
