So with access to 93 octane it might be tweaked a little?

I'm all over the place right now trying to make up my mind as to a mod path, but after talking at the dealership this morning, I'm strongly leaning towards bolt-ons and a tune. I love the idea of the electric supercharger but I'm starting to think it isn't the right path for me after all.

No need to tweak any of the maps for 93oct. They will work just fine with it. It's only when you start running race gas will you see benefits from bumping up the values in the base timing table. The electric supercharger sounds cool. I'm hoping to try it myself eventually

Cheers

I've got the current 1.2 tune flashed on my car, and it's fantastic. Idles better, drives smoother, and the best part is noticeably more power. While your but dyno may not notice all there is, I was running a lapping day at Canadian Tire motorsports park (Mosport) this past weekend, and there were a couple of BRZ's running around and even flat out up the back straight I was able to pull them with relative ease!

For the cost, I'd say this is the best performance/$ spent. And it's only going to get better as new features are added.

Garage
so just to be sure I understand correctly:
those gains (dynosheet) are obtainable on a unmodified car, with, 91 octane gas?

and, another question. Does weather can affect result/reliability? I'm from canada, and we have pretty cold winter here, and I just want to make sure there is no risk involved with that (could sound like a newb on this one... but I'm really beginning with ecu tuning!)

You can always re flash the stock tune for the winter if you wanted, but there really isn't a need. Yes the tune is meant for stock vehicles, and those with minor bolt on's ( intake and cat back exhaust). You really will not be disappointed.

Do you have any bolt on with the tune?

Yes, I have an invidia N1 cat back exhaust and an injen intake among a few other smaller goodies.

I certainly was! It was a great way to spend thanksgiving! All weekend at the racetrack! For the chumpcar race we finished 1st Saturday and second on Sunday. And then Monday I flung the FRS around the track for a few sessions! Lots of fun! Great track!!!
