Raceseng | Introducing STIFF ARM | New Strut Tower Bars

We are excited to announce the release of our new strut tower bars...

STIFF ARM |
We developed an all aluminum strut tower bar system we call, Stiff Arm. The Stiff Arm bars are not only lighter then the factory bars but stronger providing a more rigid connection between the firewall and strut towers.

The Stiff Arms are available in:
ORANGE
BLUE
RED
BRONZE
GUNMETAL

http://www.raceseng.com/stiff-arm-20...r-s-subaru-brz
$299

STRONGER AND LIGHTER

TUBING
We utilized aluminum structural tubing that is 2X the wall thickness of the factory steel bars. Our tubing wall thickness is 1/8" thick while the factory bar is 1/16" thick!

BAR ENDS

The bar ends are intentionally designed to translate the load from the bar into the strut tower while maintaining a lightweight design. To achieve this we had to do extensive sculptural machining to create a minimum wall thickness throughout the bar end.

TIG WELDING
The union of the bar end and tubing is done through meticulous, high quality TIG welding. The physical bond created with this process creates an incredibly strong connection.

LIGHTWEIGHT
The Stiff Arms weigh .735 lbs while the stock arms weigh 1.043 lbs.

DIRECT BOLT ON
The Stiff Arms are a direct bolt on product, no modifications necessary. The arms come with high quality stainless steel hardware including socket head cap screws, nyloc nuts and washers.

SIDE BY SIDE COMPARISON

The factory strut tower bars are a piece of steel tubing that is crimped on either end to create a flat bolting surface. While this is a cost effective part, it is not the most ideal scenario. We took the principle of what a firewall to strut tower bar is and designed the Stiff Arm to be a rigid structure while maintaining a lightweight design. Let's not forget about design, this is where form and function come in! We designed the bar ends to have a gorgeous form while maintaining their function as a mounting block for the tubing to be welded to.

RACESENG DESIGNED + CRAFTED

DESIGN
We design and develop our products in house! This capability allows us to create products like nothing you've ever seen or experienced. Our goal is to deliver products with a resounding sense of authenticity, where form and function fuel each other.

CRAFT
We manufacture our products in house! From cnc programming to machining production, our parts are made in house using our own manufacturing equipment. "Proudly made in the USA" may sound a bit cliche but that mantra is an integral part of the culture at Raceseng. Our joy lives in the process of crafting our own performance products.

Damn, really wanted this, though it doesn't seem like it'll fit with Ground Control camber plates.

If it replaces the stock bars how does it not work with the GrimmSpeed strut bar or GC camber plates?

Because the point where you bolt up to is not flat like the OEM bar. The GrimmSpeed bar is installed on top of the OEM bars. Now Raceseng has to come up with a flat "Stiff Bar" strut brace that goes under these Stiff Arm bars if they decide to go that route.

Dear lord that stuff is gorgeous. I'm so tempted to get that, the tow hook, and if you guys plan to anodize the camber plates that are in development that color as well I'm gonna be a long time customer. I'm sooo interested in lots of orange bits for my car.
