Should I keep my stock springs or attempt to sell/give them away? Any particularly good reasons to keep them that I should know about?

Removing the bumper isn't a problem. Aligning it when I'm putting it back on is a different story. Blacked out my headlights and installed smoked sidemakers, now there's a small gap under the headlights where the bumper touches the headlight and side panel. i might be doing something wrong cause tried numerous times but can't seem to align it right... And it's on both sides

FWIW, DSport mag did an install, review, dyno, and ECUTEK tune with 8 of the most popular intakes for the 86. In short, the Injen produced the most whp stock ecu and the K&N produced the most whp w/ ecutek tune. And if you see the chart and results of each intake @ certain RPMs, the Injen and Takeda intakes dominates the RPM range we prefer to run the car in - the Injen in the 5100+ RPMs and Takeda in the 4100 - 6000 rpm range.
As it goes with this car, a proper ECU tune with hp-related mod will see the positive potential of the mod rather one that does not get the ECU tune. Not saying always go for the ECU tune but be informed that a local tuner can add more than an aftermarket intake can provide. Plus you keep the 'stock' appearance of your engine bay. I'm sure there's enough folks here that has received this tune and can speak on its behalf. There's a lot of new names and potentially new faces on Nor-Cal's threads so I'm just putting it out there that if you're looking for a well-rounded upgrade, you have options.

Whatever you do, just be patient -- Japanese parts are very flimsy. It's only a metal clip holding it in. .ck |

Good idea to call ahead since being new, parts are still being produced for the assembly line and OTC parts may still be some times away. Also, with the bumper re-alignment, the clips may be a factor but so is aligning the foams inside the bumper's cavities. Those portude just a hair or adjusted some stupid left/right outside its mold, making a solid connection is impacted. I used thin double sided tape and duck tape to re-establish foam placement before bumper placement. Any movement while clipping the bumper on is a PITA.
