For our non-American cars that were built in a non-American country and by a manufacturer that many would say doesn't "stand behind" their product (I'm looking at you Subaru).

I Irony.

In fairness, I agree with you but you have to see the irony in the statement. I mean, I just about spit my soda all over my keyboard when I read it. The only way it could have been more ironic is if you typed it from a Chinese factory built iPhone.

Humor me while I play devil's advocate, it says lifetime warranty.

Its cuz its sold on eBay you know, a place that get unlimited exposure. Im not saying its a good product but I really dislike people coming in here with their unlimited knowledge of everything. Im sure someone will give it a shot and be happy.

people talked shit on PLM for years as ebay junk, then their parts started making more power than the stuff that cost twice as much....
Take a shot, hell if its welded and the pipes are round its already better than that borla junk that costs twice as much.

It did not say Lifetime warranty when this thread was started. Someone **coughchcough** changed their ebay ad text after being called on it. We'll soon see how well they honor it. But by then this thread will be long forgotten.

so true. "...American made by someone who stands behind their product with a warranty..." sounds like a joke these days with people preferring Japanese, European, Korean products (and I'm sure soon Chineese) and American companies manufacturing their products anywhere else but US, including China. The cost of American products higher because everyone in the chain to the final product needs to make money to maintain their high quality of living. The same is true for China and their workers but their cost of living is a lot less and thus their combined charges aren't as high. I good welder is a good welder whether he lives in US or China only their labor cost is different.

If this was UEL catless i would of bought it. I bought a turbo-back ebay exhaust for my evo 8 and it had perfect fitment, sounded nice and never cracked.

After a quick search it looks like XSpower makes headers for Corvettes as well. People seem to like them, at least they do on the ~3 pages I've read so far.

He also appears to be selling an "Amuse" titanium exhaust for a GTR for $1,125. Now I don't know how much an Amuse GTR exhaust normally costs, but I have a feeling it would be a liiiittle bit more than $1,125, considering it's about triple that for our cars with only half the tips.

Sketchy McSketcherson.

What I find funny about all this is that looking at the various dyno charts that have been posted here, the "cheap" Borla (UEL) headers are among the best in terms of gains.

I've asked the seller about the terms of the lifetime warranty. We'll see what they come back with.
