I'm really disappointed in the paint on my TRD spoiler that I got from the dealer. You can see clouds in the metallic flake. Poor job.

Hve you called the dealership and told them the quality is poor and will have to re-do it?

Depends on the dealer, and if you go about the situation in a nice tone. I've done this before, and didn't see any clouds/defects until later when I got home. They just had me bring it by to show them what I meant, and they agreed on the poor quality and we set up a new appointment for the fix.

I went back to the dealership - they thought I was crazy. I mean, it's hard to see the bad paint job in bright sunlight, but I do admit, I'm anal about it.

Still, they said they doubt they could paint it again and make it better.

I think they're being lazy and cheap. However, I'm not sure it bothers me enough for me to want to keep going back to the dealership to keep having them paint it, and try again, and again.

I do have 3 years on the warranty, so if it does bother me more in the future, they said I can bring it back later.

Last I checked they had 7 or 8 of them at the dealership by my house. No one really wants them.

They should send them to PR... every time I go to the dealership, the sellers tell me there's bunch of people looking for them... but all FR-S where bought in a week... lol

There's so many in Houston I got mine for 3,800 off MSRP after putting a few k down I only owe 18 on my car and I've had it for two months.

I wanna say they had three 10's on the floor when I looked and when I asked he said he at 5 more or so in the back. If they would have given me a better deal "which Im sure now that it's December they are" I woulda grabbed one.
