Someone just called me from the scion fitz in gaithersburg. he said he just was notified from scion that they probably wont get any cars until july.

Lol at this rate everyone is gonna sit here and wait with me till 2013 or get the 2014 models. Really high demand for both type of cars.

I wouldn't be surprised if most of us end up waiting another year. On the bright side if there are any kinks in the first model then the 2014's should be in better shape for those who wait. But none us really don't want too, right?

I hope they don't keep pushing it back. This is a summer car, if it's not available until october then we're gonna lose much of the fun driving season.

Like I said, if they push it back or it's so difficult to get one that I'd have to wait til November/December then I'd just pass and wait til the next MY.

Great, it seems that is going to be very difficult to even get a test drive and I don't have high hopes of being able to find exactly the BRZ I want.

I have a feeling they are seriously underestimating demand and everyone that really wants one right out of the gate are going to have to pay big $$$.

I can't even fathom not being able to drive the car year round.

Same here. I'll be taking it off the road in Nov/Dec so if I can't get it until the fall anyways I'll wait and get one next spring.

Well I'd say I'll probably be driving the car 300 days out of the year. I'm not sure what the prius tires are rated for temperature-wise, but the days when it's well below 40 degrees (most performance tires minimum safe operating temp), I certainly won't be driving it spirited. And when there's snow in the forecast, I'll take my Legacy GT on Blizzaks

hmm... I must be crazy to want to drive this thing in winter. then again last time I had an RWD in winter there was a blizzard and I almost got into accidents.... probrably why I was looking into WRX back in the day. Snow Mode is in the Automatic, but not in the manual ;/ might as well leave the car to park in winter and walk lol which really defeat the purpose, I guess Winters for me will be really fun.

Bah... winters are nothing with good tires... (And I'm talking about real badass winters in Quebec) I always buy a rwd beater around september (miata, skyline, silvia, cressida, etc..), never had a single problem. I will definetly drive the brz/frs all year round. Currently rocking a Roadster (rhd miata) with 1.5way lsd, just gotta be careful from time to time
