Bandpass (link fixed)

Update: Link fixed

[ame="http://www.amazon.com/Dual-SBP8A-Single-Amplified-Bandpass/dp/B002WN2JS4"]Dual SBP8A 160 Watts Single 8-Inch Amplified Bandpass (Black):Amazon:Car Electronics[/ame]

Anyone has this installed in their FRS? Are they really that good? I don't want loud, I want something better than stock. What sort of wiring do I need?

(new to car audio)

I'm sure it'll make noise. Most likely not great noise.

Pay's yer money, take's yer choice. It's me vs 87 positive reviews. Maybe it's amazing. Perhaps 87 people on there don't know what sounds good. Who knows. Cheap enough to find out? Perhaps it'd make you happy? Being happy is good.

It's a "dual" product for starters and it's a single 8" running running 160 watts.. Yeah I'm with ft_sjo.. This isn't worth the $$. Get an infinity basslink if you want something cheap and easy to install.

Sweet! That infinity basslink seems to be the one I'm looking for! Thanks!

But what else do I need to install it? It says it comes with Wiring harnesses but I am not sure if that's all I need.

Depends on the head unit you have. Aftermarket or Bespoke you only need an 8 gauge wiring kit (If I recall correctly) and the RCA's. Base deck, you'll need a Line out convertor on top of the wiring kit and rca's.

I have the stock Scion HU. Pioneer, I believe. No touch screen or anything fancy.

Apparently I'm wrong. This thread shows that you do have RCA's for a subwoofer. So you wouldn't need a line out convertor. Just the RCA's and the wiring kit.

So this [ame="http://www.amazon.com/KIT-2-Complete-Gauge-Amplifier-Installation/dp/B000FKP7TY/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1381345934&sr=8-2&keywords=infinity+basslink"]wiring kit[/ame] should be all you need. And this seems to be one of the best deals on the [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Infinity-Basslink-200-Watt-10-Inch-Subwoofer/dp/B000063TJY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1381345934&sr=8-1&keywords=infinity+basslink#productDetails"]bass link[/ame]
