Just ordered this... A nice STi replica at a fraction of the cost

Also ordered some DEPO fogs and did a 6K HID upgrade at the same time...

That replica front lip is SEXY.
I see you went to glass fog lights, smart move. I was gonna do HIDs but got some cheap LEDS for the time being in my fogs

If i wanted different coloured canards what would you recommend painting them with? actual paint or plastidip? All i can find is CF but then again I might leave them as is.

If your going to paint them, I think you can get them in aluminum also. I've seen them in both silver and black. When I had my Lancer, I had Apr canards that were both aluminum and cf all in one. I think they would look good in CF or black myself. I haven't seen anything plastic dipped up close, not sure how that stuff holds up.

Plasti-dip is matt, looks rough (like literally looks textured) and holds up OK but will not clean nearly as easy as the rest of your car. But if you want ot buy carbon ones and paint them black for like 8 bucks to see what it looks like, why not use plasti-dip! then if you really like it, get it professionally painted (or take the time to do it yourself)

Well my door moldings finally showed, paint and fitment were perfect. 3M tape on back of moldings was also very well placed adding ease to installation. I wasn't sure what to expect from the new look, but overall I'm happy. Definitely less worried about door dings now

I'm at 3800Km and ready for my third oil change and my second tranny and rear diff change

Had Subaru's house brand of oil for previous oil changes and tested out Royal Purple on tranny and rear diff on last change with no real noticeable gains. Gonna give Amsoil a go!

Your looking at around $170 worth of oil for everything...

6 x 0w20
3 x Tranny Fluid
2 x Gear Oil

It is starting to get cold out! (today excluded) I guess I should start getting my Corolla ready for daily duties!!

I guess there are some benefits to the corolla
- Cheaper fill ups
- Extra 100+km's per tank
- Quieter ride
- more interior space - helpful for lugging around winter gear

But then there is the one major negative
- Every time I sit in it, it takes a little bit more of my soul and I am left feeling empty and sad until the snow melts.

on a more serious note, got the OEM Audio+ subwoofer installed on Friday and I am very happy with it! I McGyver'd my install but everything worked and my system is that much better because of it!

Looks great!!

What are the intervals you are changing your oil at? I just did my 2nd change (so onto 3rd batch of oil) but I have not done my transmission or diff yet. I think I will next year, just to upgrade the quality of my fluids.

I changed the oil before I parked car last fall, then again in the spring after sitting all winter. Now I'm on my third oil change just before I park it again. Not really going by km because I have none. I did rear diff and tranny in the spring w/Royal Purple hoping to smooth out shifting, but never noticed any difference. Hoping the Amsoil will change that!

Just bought these! Should pair nicely with my new STi lip. Let me know if you want my HT Auto ones ?
