First off, hope nobody was injured in the accident. Then, hopefully, it wasn't a major accident and everything can be repaired or replaced without too much headaches. Finally, look on the bright side. You now have a good excuse to buy the FRS/BRZ when it hits the showroom floors. :happy0180:

hahaha - thanks for the support guys. It wasn't too bad considering no one is hurt and my car is still driveable. The CRV that hit only had scuffs + scratches.

Pic is right above my rear right wheel. Still figuring out all this insurance crap....getting a headache at work.

I got clipped two weeks ago driving 70 mph down I-10 here in Florida. Almost exact same spot as you. Lady driving was driving way too many hours in a rental car. To make matters worst, she ignored the calls from her insurance company since it was her fault. Finally today, I got approval from her ins to take my car into be fixed.

The best thing you can do outside of taking care of yourself, is to get a copy of the police report to confirm liability..that is what saved me, or this thing could have gone on for months.

Good luck to you.

I had similar damage and ended up hidden damage was bent wheel and broken wheel bearing. Listen for noise coming from that corner.

Thanks I'll check for any noise. There was no police report cause when I called 911 they said that there was no one injured - so they don't do anything. It has to be completely duked out between insurance companies

ouch. I have never heard of that in Florida. It can take them hours to get to you but they usually show up. It has been a long time since I have been in an accident and now that I drive a tiny old car with little to no airbags or protection I am hoping I don't get in one anytime soon.

That is crazy! I would have said my big toe hurts to get someone onsite to help determine the cause. Well, you got hit towards the rear, so odds should be in your favor, just don't let them get away with saying you crossed into thier lane, if indeed that is not the case.

why would you call 911? Those are for emergencies.

you should have your local police department number, they have a separate one you know.

Did you take pictures of her license plate... her drivers licenses... insurance policy and registration?

Just in case something else happens you can just pull that up.

But for that damage to your car... it looks like it will just be replaced and fixed. :/ Unless you want to say you have emotional damages... Lol
