How many speakers does a car need?

My sound car has 5. Two mid range, two tweeters and 1 sub and I'm 100% sure it'll sound better than a stock 86.

The US version running the 3 way fronts have the potential of sounding great once some work is done for those who want it for sound. I'll probably just leave it stock unless I can't stand it though

Source?

edit. Multiple news outlets are report the on sale date is April 6th in Japan, and they are aiming to sell 1,000 per month in Japan. There is still nothing about the US that I can find.

with prices being what they are for trd add-ons, I would opt for the RC over the TRD if both were available. I believe that the money needed to add a decent headunit, summer wheels, and paint would come out to be substantially less. Left over money = aftermarket upgrades.

steelies= winter tires

Spoiled with poor imaging and poor soundstage? lol

I used to be into "more is better" too until I heard a well setup front stage only system

^Amen on the front soundstage. I had a set of Adire Audio Koda's in my first car and they were amazing.

Could you post the picture? because I haven't seen one yet.

Sounds like mostly phase cancellation and comb filtering with that many speakers in a small area.

So it isn't front mid-ship then.

I've never seen a picture of a FR-S with 16" wheels, and I highly doubt Scion will offer them standard, but maybe as an option. I was told at the L.A. auto show back in 2005 that Scion offered 17" wheels standard on the tC because of market feedback; I don't see the market going for smaller wheels some seven years later.
