Ditto.

I'm surprised this thread is still open.

I think this is a good thread/topic for one main reason: this car is not intended to be about power. This may sound too simple but it is an often overlooked aspect of the car by people in the USA. Many americans do not buy cars for their circuit abilities; they like staight line speed. And i would venture to say that is the case with many 86 owners in the US. There is not much power to be had going NA. Period. Not any that is worth the money. If u want power u bought the wrong car. If u want a great driver's car then u will enjoy it. I have been privileged to own many different cars and this is a very fine driving machine. If u use it on a twisty road or circuit u will really come to appreciate the car and realize it doesnt need power it needs better tires. Oh by the way, if u want to really improve acceleration buy rear end gears. Thats the best item to buy for the money because it is true mechanical advantage.

This car is whatever you want it to be it was build with aftermarket in mind, and making a car go fast in the straight is the easiest thing to do...

No one has produced any yet and the ones i talked to have said they arent working on it anymore (reasons were expensive, small market, not much power to be had).
I believe that what we will see in terms of performance parts to come are more FI kits and stroker kits something that goes against everything pure about the 86.

That is the reason why I believe TRD and co need to put something out there. 240hp at the crank should be attainable.
It takes time to properly to design things like cams and headers. The twins are only on their second year of release. This is a brand new engine. Give it time.

I don't think anyone has given up. Ok maybe the the flood of FI parts has taken attention away from NA developments. I know if I made say cams for this car and try marketing them plenty of people would chime in to says that any of the FI kits are better power for the money.

I believe NA parts will become available in time
