I was just thinking of a few cars that were in the upper reaches of his 50K price limit. Even though most of the Evo and STi stuff even when fully spec-d out hovers right around 40K

Not sure what STI you were talking about, but 2011/2012 STI got revised suspension, and it's supposed to be far better than the old one.

i don't know where you're pulling these prices from, a brand new 370z has a starting price of 41000 here in canada, this is before taxes and freight. Assuming the dealer budges a whopping 25% cut off of MSRP and sells it to me for 31, i'm still paying freight and taxes and in and around 37,000.00, and this is a base model.


I don't know why people are debating the handling, the 370z is a superior car in terms of performance.

but i have only 1 parking space and i'll need to put a kid somewhere. (not in the trunk)


So tell me, given my desires to have a fun-to-drive RWD car that seats 2.5 people and a tight budget, what would you suggest i get?

the only way i can get a 370z for the same price as a FT86 is if i get one USED, and i'm done buying used cars, once and never again.

LOL STI or EVO is not in the same leage as the NISSAN!!

They are both just fast because of AWD, they dont actually handle that good

That's the one I am talking about. It's in the C&D ViR competition and tied with the GC 3.8 Rspec with a 3:13.8. The 370Z was 3:12.0

I own a 370z and I am excited for this car to come out! I enjoy enthusiasts no matter what car they drive. It's great to see Toyota coming out with something fun and I can't wait to see what people do to this car.
