Square or Staggered?
Wondering what everyone is going to go with and why.
Im most likely going to go with a square 225 setup, just a small bump from the factory specs. |

Im not talking for the track, im going square for the street since its usually a little lighter on the pocket book
I wont change anything for the track until ive driven the car at a few HPDE and autoX events. Thats the only way to know. |

I will be waiting to hear what the benefits handling wise will be. With a car this balanced i might just stay with stock sizes to keep from throwing things off kilter.

We can only go off the media reviews, which are adamant that the low-grip 215's are key to the cars playfulness and balance. If you simply want more grip, then going to sticky 215's would be the logical first choice. More grip still? 225 or 235 all around. The cars balance seems to be relatively neutral, as is the weight balance, so there's no need to redistribute grip with a staggered setup.
Want "Stance"? Handling be damned, cram the biggest wheel possible out back.

I would be tempted to go with 225/45/17 size just because they would fill out the wheel well more and look better. The added grip being a plus.

And the bigger sidewalls, reduced gearing and additional weight would be cons.... doesn't make much sense IMO.

Considering you steer with the gas pedal, a staggered setup would be a good compromise between putting power to the ground and agility around corners. A car this oversteer happy isn't going to be easy to control after it has 600 hp. A large square setup would reduce turn-in responsiveness. So a staggered setup with big HP numbers is completely logical; I'm not sure why you think high hp cars can't get their tail out with a staggered setup.
