Yes, and that's because RS-R Japan built the Formula D Asia car using the Toyota 86 platform purchased in Japan, and the team operates independently of Toyota Motor Corporation. So if it DID say Toyota, it would be copyright/trademark infringement. I think you have it backwards.

And by the way, in English language we need to capitalize the T for Toyota, since it is a name.

This watch is a commemorative version made by Casio, and celebrating Formula D Asia Series with RS-R as one of the sponsors and participating teams of Formula D Asia Series. They have recently won the round 1 of 2014 in Bangkok, just last week.

Yes, if it encourages you to come out to a raceway to practice more...

Yes, I don't think Casio will design another entirely new model just to make a commemorative version with production of only 200 or so of them... If they did it wouldn't be at a price-point of only $190 or some low number. Haha!

That's nearly what it was originally, an inexpensive watch marketed for younger folks, but became a hit trend a while back. Much like a Tamagottcchi or LEGO blocks, it seems to have a cultish following with people of all ages.

Casio sponsored the Formula D Asia and RS-R Team so this exists for another group of collectors.
