Debating on which exhaust

Hi new to the forum, but I have a 2013 whiteout FRS that I absolutely love, just wished it had a little more grunt and power to it. So I was thinking about changing out the exhaust, which would most likely be a catback system. I was wondering if anyone out there has had experience with Greddy and or Flowmaster in terms of performance. Any help would be appreciated.

Flowmaster is gonna be your general mass produced exhaust, similar to borla. Greddy is Greddy, standard JDM stuff.

In terms of performance, you're not going to notice much of anything with a catback. Period. Your biggest performance gains are going to be from replacing the header and over/frontpipe.

As far as headers that totally comes to personal preference...UEL vs EL. UEL will give you more of a rumble, EL will be smooth.
*EL headers will generally also give much better performance. If you're planning on going forced induction down the line, (turbo), fa20club and P&L both make modular headers which can be converted to turbo manifolds for their respective turbo kits down the line.

try to attend Car Meet up... and asked around. Specially listen to their installed exhaust... Then decide which one do you buy... :-)

I have the Invidia N1, and I fully intend on going full Nameless once their header comes out. In other words, I agree!

You can't go wrong with Nameless or Perrin. I have the Perrin(with Motiv frontpipe) and it is pretty quiet, but that means you can add other parts without the car getting obnoxious.

Also catbacks don't do much in the way of power, you probably want more like headers, overpipe, frontpipe

I love my Perrin headerback, but I'll give the nod to Nameless too. Nameless downpipe costs a good bit less than seperate front and over pipes.

I have the EVS tuning catback/test pipe and really like it. Sounds like a mix between an s2000 and wrx. The single exit isn't for a lot of people though.

I have a Greddy Evo 3 and a Motiv Concepts Test pipe. I won't lie IT IS LOUD as Hell unless you put the silencers in. They are both for sale at a greatly reduced price. I don't have my car anymore.

I am also going to jump on the Perrin bandwagon. I have a soft spot for their exhaust on these cars

Just got my Perrin headerback installed yesterday. Cold start it's loud, but then it turns into a nice mean rumble.

We carry a ton of exhausts, most of the ones that are posted up above including but not limited to Perrin, ARK Performance, Flowmaster, Borla, HKS, Greddy, Invidia and more. Everybody has their own taste on what exhaust to pick, so I would suggest going to a car meet, listen to other cars in person, and listen to them on youtube and see what exhaust sounds the best to YOU, not just based on what everybody else buys
