Honestly, I can understand someone wanting to break into a car...there's a clear motive. Door dings and hit and runs are just people being careless assholes; that's what pisses me off even more. If I park in a lot, I'll worry about door dings and if I park on the street, I'll have to worry about love taps to the bumpers. It's just one of the inevitabilites of owning a car and public parking. I've had my car parked in places all over the socio-economic spectrum and believe me: this kind of stuff happens EVERYWHERE.
