this forum is the fing best! I had the very same conern and posted this question last night. I wake up this morning and "bam" someone else posted the question and it has been answered. That link to the audio sound is exactly what my car does.

The engine runs hot and should have an oil cooler from the factory.

I suggest you get one installed.

An oil cooler the size of Alaska would not cool the catalytic converter and surrounding metal.

That's true but the engine still runs hot.
