I just won a Borla UEL header and I was thinking of getting the Perrin front and over pipe to go with my currently installed Perrin Catback exhaust. Do you mind sending me a PM with details on where you sourced the front pipe and over pipe as well as price you paid for them? The Perrin website seems to indicate that they are no longer selling a 2.5 inch front pipe.
I appreciate the help!

Didn't do it today (did it this past Saturday) but only got around posting it here now...
I threw it around corners on a racetrack on a rainy day: [ame]http://youtu.be/ZCUsucTjrlw[/ame] The track was damp and I'm still 100% stock so I gave up on doing a good time and had fun with it. As a wise man once said: "He should shall be last shall be sideways and smiling"...

I got my $15 eBay rear view camera installed.
![]() I adjusted the factory unit lines so they are on top of the camera lines so they are not so distracting. |

Thank you sir! Well, you live in SoCal so there *have to be* places you can go do stuff like this... :P In my case, this is actually the only place with an actual track. It's a karting track so we can only do solo/time trials but it's a whole lot of fun (especially when dry). I do plan on doing more actual racing next year (mostly autocross but will try some big tracks too; closest one is Omaha--3h away).
![]() Cheers!

Camera: http://www.ebay.com/itm/130950863254...84.m1497.l2649
It looks like the quality of the camera is good. The body is metal and it came with long enough wire to connect it. For installation, I followed this link with a few modifications of my own. The camera needs 12v power and puts out a video signal. 4 wires in total. I routed the Video +, Video - and Power + to the head unit and grounded the Power - inside the trunk. The cable I got with the camera had 3 wires in it. I also did a less complicated routing of the wires to the front without disassembling so much of the interior. Later on I will try to adjust the head unit lines. Unfortunately, I have not found a way to remove the lines from the camera itself. I might try to disassemble it to see if there is a way to do it on the camera board. |
