Yup, just the front bumper. Did you have it professionally done in a shop, and were there any holes left behind you had to fill or was it just heat gun and some muscle?

let me get set this straight for anyone who wants to do this.

this is not a DIY mod

in order to properly ditch the front emblem it need to be removed. once removed there is a big spot that need to be filled properly, sanded, primed, and then the bumper needs to be blended in that area or resprayed completely. unless you are really good with body work i DO NOT recommend anyone attempt this. mine was done by a friend who is a professional and owns a body shop.

now with that said, i'm not saying someone at home can't do it, its just one of those things that will either look perfect, or terrible. no middle ground here.

and lastly congrats on the 2014! you're going to love it.

This!

Mine was done by an Audi certified body shop. It is not a cheap thing to do but it's worth it imo.

Thanks guys! I really want to do it, but it seems like a lot of money which I'll be needing to do other upgrades. Maybe I'll do it later down the road. :P

OH and Jive, did you manage to swap your trunk out? Or did you just swap spoilers? I want one that's similar to yours, but I'm afraid of holes in the trunk.

@Jive Turkey, I hope I'm not insulting you, but how is it that you afford college, a brand new car, and expensive parts for that brand new car (while going to college). Do you live with you parents or something? I'm a sophmore in college, and I'm barely scraping enough money together to afford the BRZ after rent, bills, ect... I know this has nothing to do with your car per-say, but I think it relates! Sincerely, the hard working, slightly confused guy.

i dont take it as an insult since you dont know me.

well for starters, during undergrad, instead of going out every weekend, i worked as a bartender...thats how i afforded my STi, working in restaurants if you dont mind not having much of a nighttime/holiday social life is a very rewarding job. i also saved money by living at home and not dorming because rutgers was 10 minutes from my house...now that i'm in law school its the same story, there are no dorms so i have to live at home and commute to school. i still work weekends so hopefully it all keeps working out the same

now the parts on the BRZ...people dont realize that i had much more into my STi, so when it was hit and traded in, i parted the STi out. so essentially what happend was i parted out the sti, made profit, took what i invested in the STi and put it right back into the BRZ. Also its a big help when you can do alot of the work yourself.

Ah. Gotcha. Just trying to get a look into how other people around my age afford the money hungry hobby of cars! 20 years old, working 40-50 hours a week, plus college. Thanks for taking the time to share! Love the car, especially the homemade splitter. Very unique. Drop would be perfect too if you brought the front up to match the rear!

Bartending/serving... I did that in college and worked 25 hours a week MAX... Pulled in $1000-1500/week... claimed a fraction of it and still got a tax return every year... now I work 40hrs a week as a grown up, hate my job and have to claim it all and owed last time.

Growing up sucks.

Hey Jive, did you swap your trunk or just replace the spoiler on your limited? I wanna replace mine with one similar to yours, but I'm afraid of leaving holes after removing the stock one.

i'm not allowed to work more than 20 hours a week...school policy, otherwise i'd be doing both full time.
