So I have to ask. Why not 17x8.5 32 5x100? It's still FR faced. Less weight where it matters. Theoretically more clearance potential for tuck, brakes, shocks, camber, etc.

I might be mistaken, but judging from pics the 17x9 looks more concave than the 17x8.
