i never understood the big deal about punctuation on a forum. this isn't some formal paper or proposal i'm handing to my boss or the government haha. maybe i should start texting with correct punctuation... if you wan't spellcheck your post go for it but who really cares haha

i wouldn't want to see a sticker price more than 30k for it tho...i feel that's prob the most they'd be able to get away with

All of this is fine and dandy for Europe but what is the US market going to get stuck with? Since 2006 US Civics have looks better than their European counterparts but the still cheap out on performance and features even Elantras provide. At least Akio Toyoda has passion and wants to make cars other than the (boring) Camry. Honda has lost its way and with the debacle of following the bean counters using cheap interiors in their 12 models to save $$ then having to be upgraded the following year.

Chassis and drivetrain?

The last i4 turbo I remember Honda doing was in the RDX. Wasn't too impressed due to the poor mpg vs. power output. I'm sure the 2ton weight had something to do with the poor mpg, but at the time the n/a v6 in the MDX had the same mpg and better power output in a heavier car.

I was coming in to say this. The SRT-4 Dart should be pretty beastly if they stick with the powertrain or power goals of the caliber SRT-4, which was an ugly, top-heavy beast strapped to a great powertrain. I loved my Neon-SRT-4, that thing would get low 13s in the 1/4mi before I tuned it to over 300hp, and driving it for a year an a half on the Autobahn where it topped out at 159MPH stock while driving rock-steady was more fun than you can imagine. I'd still prefer the WRX though.
