FA20Club Turbo Kit Owners Topic

No more BP gas for me! EVER! What a pain in the ass it is to try and troubleshoot stuff when the very gas it runs on is shit.

Needless to say my low speed drive-ability issues showed up again today. After 250 miles it seemed like the closer it got to E the worse it ran. Watched AFR on torque fluctuate from 12.x to 19 within a second or two while cruising a steady speed. So i bought a 1 gallon gas can, dumped e85 in it, and let it run till it quit. Dumped the 1 gallon of E85 in it and went straight to the same gas station and filled it up the rest of the way on E85. Analyzer is reporting E78 which is damn good. AFR cleaned right up and seems to drive nice and steady but only drove it 15 miles or so. We'll see what tomorrow holds.

I'll move the rest of this drama over to my build thread where it belongs but thought others might benefit from knowing what absolute crap BP is calling gas these days. I also wanted to give Toni an opportunity to give me a well deserved "I Told You So". Go ahead man... I can take it...

Happy to report I ordered the 60trim kit with fuel mods and a sprung 6 puck clutch this morning. Can't wait to install when it arrives around the end of October!

When I spoke with him on the phone yesterday, he said he would be caught up by the end of next week. Then he could start on orders placed recently such as mine. I hope he can stick to that time frame...

I hope he can, trust me. Missed a bunch of events already so i'm not sweating it as much, i understand from a business standpoint what it means to be understaffed so that's why i'm not bugging out. Three months is kinda a long time though
