Never really liked the spyder tailights. Looked too aftermarket. The TOMs really look OEM though it took a long time for my order to arrive. I'll probably just resell the spyders. Will post pics when the Toms are installed.

Just sold my last stock of the Tom's taillight last night. Didn't know you wanted a set. I still have some TRD and Tom's parts on stock if you're interested.
Yes, the rear fog was done by autokozmetix. They are very good especially during the heavy rains lately. Just be sure to get the red LED bulb used for the brake light for best visibility. I bought my bulb at concorde, they sell it by twos, so you get a spare if the bulb conks out.

were you the one who posted about that rear fog conversion? i was trying to look for it, but couldnt find it, getting confused with the different forums im visiting already would really want that one, cold weather is coming up and it usually fogs in Antipolo and Tagaytay during December to January so that would be nice to have

btw, how was it done? do they do a clean and good job on the wirings?

Track practice Videos

Went over to CIS for a little track practice. Trying to dial in the suspension to get the max out of the car. I bettered my reference lap, so I guess I'm getting somewhere.

Recorded a 2:32 here:

Did the two best laps here: (a 2:30 and 2:31)

Here's a video from the cheap seats:

Dixcel ES Brake Pad install

Dixcel ES Brake Pad install

The stock brake pads are very capable during spirited street driving, but on the track, I noticed that after a few hot laps the pads experience fade.
I'm joining a few track events soon, and I decided to try the Dixcel ES brake pads. I settled on the ES pad since it falls into the Street/Circuit category of the Dixcel line, because they did not have the pads I wanted, the Z-type.
The ES pads are good from 0-600C, so I think they are on par with what I need. I just installed front pads and skipped the rears for this time.

Install was pretty easy, just pop the stocks off and in they go. Around 15-20 mins. I'd like to thank Autokozmetix and Emperor motorsports for the install.

My initial impressions with the pads right after the install is they are mariginally better than the stock ones. I had no time to bed them in, and I thought just to bed them in during tomorrows practice session. The event was a Time Attack race going two ways at Clark International Speedway. One run going uphill, stop, then one run going downhill. The two best runs will be taken, then added to get your total time.

Here's the uphill run:

Downhill run:

Overall impressions:
After bedding-in, the pads bite a bit harder than the stock pads. They retain the stock pads characteristics, but they don't fade like the stock ones do. The ES pads also perform better as the they heat up. They just stop consistently even after repeated practice runs. My best times are usually the last runs as the tires and brakes are in operating temps. Overall, I'm satisfied with the Dixcel pads as they made a big improvement over the stock ones in terms of consistency and higher operating temps.
I'm also happy to report that I won 1st place in the 2WD class during the time attack event! Talk about beginners luck! Pads will get more review time as I will be joining another time attack event this weekend. This time we will be using the whole track, so the pads will be stressed more than the last event.
