Finding the emblems is easy, as is debadging.

My question is, how are the replacement badges stuck where the old badges were removed? All I see is pegs but no other adhesive.

Does the corolla/avalon badges have a way of staying on the car? No DIY or pictures I've seen shown how these badges stay on the car.

For example, the JDM 86 badges I've seen on ft86speedfactory have a peel off tape.

Anyone who has replaced their scion badges with the corolla/avalon badges than can chime in would be appreciated.

Use double sided tape.

Did both the front and back fit perfectly?

Great thread, thanks for all the tips and how-to's.

I picked up this before I saw this thread to figure how the removal/install goes on my firestorm fr-s.

It looks like they only have the one size (without the pins).

Any thoughts on how well this'll work on the front bumper without the pins and not being of slightly larger size?

Having broke the pins on the original emblem once removed, I did not have any pins on the front. Had no issues. As far as I can tell, they are for quick alignment and have really no load bearing use.

Does the front bumper emblem get removed just like the rear? I just ordered some emblems and all the DIY's I see are of the rear one only.

Not really. The issue with the front one is that the tabs on the emblem snap into place in the bumper (?). So you basically can't avoid breaking the tabs off, and therefore it takes quite a bit of force to remove the front emblem. Use dental floss to slice through the tape where possible. Then gently pry the emblem up and use a piece of plastic (like the end of a bic pen cap) to poke at the tape you can't get at with the floss. This will loosen it up and you can try to remove it.

That's what I did. Just read through this thread, probably has tons of tips.
