TPMS Question

So I put on new wheels without the TPMS sensor and I have driven for about 500 miles and no light has appeared! I was just wondering if I'm the only one? And if your TPMS light turned on, how long did it take you?

mine took a while also. It comes on randomly, and sometimes it just doesn't show at all.

That's what I thought too but its been about 500 miles and it hasn't even appeared even once. Hopefully it stays off!

Is the 500 miles all at one time or in smaller trips? My summer wheels/tires are without TPMS and the light doesn't come on unless I drive more than 25 miles in one shot. If I do drive farther than 25 miles continuously and I park the car overnight, the next morning it will be off again, and stay off unless I drive more than 25 miles again.

It's not all at once but I have gone over 25 miles many times. I think I got pretty close to 100 miles the other day and no light at all!

They look like Work Emotion CR-KAI in matte gun metal. They don't come in hyper black

What sizes and offset did you use?

Do you park next to the wheels that have the TPMS sensors in them?

My light comes on as soon as I swap the wheels over and start the car without the summers in the trunk, and stays on (sometimes flashing) until I put the summers in the trunk or on the car.

The stock wheels with TPMS in them are stored about 15 feet away from the car in the garage. Not sure if that is close enough to pick up the signal or not.

It is too close.
Go drive on the hwy w/o stopping for 30-40 minutes and it will come on. Until you park next to OEM wheels again.

Wrong person. I said earlier if I drive more than 25 miles or so, the TPMS light comes on.
