255 definitely would have been an easier option. I didn't think that upgrading wheels just to run a 255 would be worth it, so I really wanted the 265s even though I knew there would be rubbing. I have clearanced the rear bumper area where it meets the rear fender enough that I don't rub at all in the rear anymore while still running less than 2 degrees of camber in the rear.

Got the @JPM Coachworks shift boot and ebrake boot in Alcantara with red stiching for my birthday to match my already installed JPM gauge hood. I am going to win that Southeast 86 car show now.

Curious what current alignment is? I just had my coils installed I am at currently -2 all way around no toe. Guy that did my alignment did FU on front with way he did plates so its a free redo. I'm thinking of -1.8 in rear and -2.0 to -2.2 in front for abit more balance. I am 1.250" lower then stock on kwv3 and vorshalgg plates up front and want to fit a 40 offset 18x9.5" with 255/35/18 MPSS tires, think that'll all clear without modifications?

Alignment:

Front Camber: -2 degrees
Front Toe: Zero
Rear Camber: -1.5 degrees
Rear Toe: A little toe in

I think the 255 should clear everywhere except possibly the rear bumper tabs.

Ok thanks for that, I keep hearing about these bumper tabs, I am "pretty sure" I know which they are but unclear of how much to cut away on those sections? When you say in rear a little toe in, are we talking like 1/16th worth?

If you look where the rear bumper meets the fender you will see a plastic push pin fitting. I would wait till it rubs first, but most likely you will at least need to trim all the bumper material away inside of that fitting. 1/16th worth is correct.

I hear all of you government workers (I assume you are government workers) I work for a provincial government in Canada and sometimes it is hard to explain or comprehend what is going on when politics are involved.

Sorry last Q on tire gig...

So with 265/35/18 you have no issues in rear as low as you are with -1.5 camber and no fender mods aside from that tab, is this correct?

I had to remove a lot of that tab and modify some of the metal structure on the fender in that area as well, and I still rub the tire sometimes under a lot of compression. The PSS 265s are rather wide.

I've tried to find a pic of this tab. I'm abt to slap on 9.5" rims w/ 275 Hoosiers--I believe I'll need to do some trimming... loi

@Jive Turkey is the one that started calling it the bumper tab. It is the area that is 90 degrees from the side of the bumper where normally mud flaps or fender liners would mount. Under compression the side of the tire comes up enough to make contact in that area. Good luck with those 275 A6s, haha.
