Here is a .zip file with some logs i just did if it means anything to anyone...ugh. I think i really need to find a new tuner. So frustrating that i pay someone to do a job, and then they cant do it, so i have to try to figure out on my own.

Also noticed some weird issues, but think(hope) its because im at about a 1/4 tank gas....gonna go fill up and rerun some logs..

The only entity that can claim to code ownership (and accuse anyone of IP theft) is Denso/Subaru/Toyota. Everything that we (or anyone else) is doing with regard to aftermarket ECU tuning is, in fact, "stolen" from them. I think it's bad form to call anyone a "crook" without understanding this.

Just did, thanks for the advice.

Having a really weird issue where car just pretty much bogs down and jerks around at 3500rpms....wont accelerate, move, nothing...this damn car. Was hoping it was the 1/4 tank thing, but now with a full tank, same issue.

This is something that everyone getting into flash tuning needs to understand.

Not a single re-flash company has the right to call anyone else more of an IP thief than they themselves are.

This was something that Visconti also tried to throw around at the Open Source tuning community.

I agree with shiv, and I always find it funny when companies that live by reverse engineering and exploiting other companies' products try to claim any sort of IP rights on the result of their work. They're just ecu defs to begin with, nothing proprietary, no innovation or new process of any sort. don't try to act like you own the house just because you showed up first.

Well, he was at least being objective based on data that was presented.
More open is always good, Visconti would never have made it so far.
Without looking other maps, it'll be the same bs and fanboy banding crap until even morons can't justify their spending anymore. People posting bad experiences gets shot down when everything points towards the tuner doing a dirty as found by a local Aussie member.

For anyone to dispute the data, they'll need to show their maps to counter, not some bs knee jerk emotional driven reply. So yeah, where is everyone else's open maps for comparison?

it'll all be out in the open once ecuflash drops. we'll be able to see whatever we want so long as we have a map to pull to look at. you're right that people wouldn't have thought so highly of visconti for so long if anyone but he himself could've seen what he was doing to everyone's car.
