Hi - I've been following the forum for a few weeks now in anticipation of getting my very own FR-S. Well today is the day - I took delivery of my new Ultramarine beauty. A big THANK YOU to the folks at Don Ringler Scion in Temple, TX. Ashley and Craig - you guys rock!! I must say that my 40 something mile drive back to Round Rock was one of the best drives ever. I am very pleased with my FR-S. Thanks to all on the forum for all the great ideas for mods. The first stop for me will be the window tint shop - have an appointment for 9am Monday morning. Look for pics here soon.

I'm on the verge of purchasing a set of Goodyear Eagle Sport All-Season tires. I was looking at the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric All-Season .....but they may be a bit overkill for my conservative driving. All I really know is that summer tires can be down right scary on snow covered roads. Yep, many good tires out there, but I feel for the Puget Sound area, any good all-season tire will get us by (as long as we stay out of the mountains in the winter) .... ![]() humfrz |

Was a lurker. Now an owner. Extremely happy! Traded in an Evo X and an STi. I could not be happier with the performance.
Now I just have to sell these parts laying around and I can start a new build. Kris |

Hello everyone ! Ive been a lurker on here for quite sometime leading up to the purchase of my new Whiteout FRS. This is a great forum and i can honestly say helped me in my decision and i couldnt be any happier. I got passed the break in period going this passed weekend going up to lime rock for the rolex grand am race. The car had me giggling like a school boy the whole way home on some backroads.
What a fantastic car and again great forum looking forward to collaborating with you guys ! |

Hello from Socal/Torrance area! I was waiting for a 2014 BRZ---thinking about the possibility of an STI version...I couldn't wait!!!! Pulled the trigger a few weeks ago and got myself a blue manual. Rushed to get break-in miles on it so I can get it to our local tracks. Have big plans for the suspension and have been learning a ton on the forums---great wealth of knowledge here!!! I have a race shop here in Torrance and would love to meet other owners/network and learn more about the cars/market. I also have the ability to fabricate/install parts at the shop and at some point may think about getting vendor status. Anyrate super excited about the car/platform!!! I'd heard about a meet at the Torrance In and OUT---anyone know details on it?? Love to get check it out---could even host one here at the shop if needed...

sup guys, i'm new. joined the forum to learn these cars since my younger brother got a white BRZ. I want to learn how to fix and upgrade to help him along the way. This is his first FR car, let alone manual and sports car.
A little bit about myself- I've owned a good list of cars, currently own an NCEC and FD3S. Been running touge since the 90's, doing stupid things I'll admit but they weren't as crowded back then as they are now. Used to do a lot of Speedventures HDPE's, now i'm broke buying grown up stuff for a house. I'd say I'm pretty technical, can pretty much do anything short of a piston motor rebuild and setting backlash on a diff, but will only be consulting my brother, not doing it for him. Otherwise, how's he gonna learn right? I usually go to the meets at Diamond Jamboree but am part of the miata crowd. the term "broke college students" does not exist at UCI. :P |
